In 1994, Danny Everhart and Benjamin “Smitty” Nauss founded Ensales Inc. with a shared vision: to provide experienced technical support and superior customer service to quality manufacturers in the electric utility industry. Prior to joining forces, both Danny and Smitty dedicated more than 20 years to another manufacturer’s agency, where they built strong relationships throughout North and South Carolina. These long‑standing connections laid the foundation for what would become Ensales Electrical Associates Inc.

Over the years, Ensales Electrical Associates experienced significant and sustained growth. The company expanded its coverage area from South Carolina up through Pennsylvania, establishing a strong presence throughout the southeastern region.

In March 2026, Ensales merged with TBG Associates to further extend its footprint in the electric utility market. This strategic merger added Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle to the company’s territory—now organized into a Southern Region and an Eastern Region.

Today, Ensales Electrical Associates employs 17 professionals, including both inside and outside sales specialists. In 2016, the current ownership group completed a buyout of the company’s senior partner. The six managing partners now bring a combined total of more than 115 years of sales experience in the electric utility industry.

With a legacy built on knowledge, experience, and commitment, Ensales Electrical Associates Inc. continues to lead the way in the utility marketplace—providing dedicated service from manufacturer to end user.
